Element: Born of the Water

Looks: A lot like a glass octopus and a polyclad flatworm. She has many yellow eyes instead of suckers, as well as the two eyes octopi normally have. Ether can “fold” herself up in many ways and see out of every eye, making it quite unclear where her face is. This ability also makes her size variable, though she usually prefers to remain “average height”. Her eyes can swivel around in any way, which helps make her expressions clearer. This doesn’t impede Ether, as she cannot become dizzy. Ether has a bright blue glow, because she’s transparent and her blue blood glows brightly.

Personality: A determinator with a dry sense of humour. Strictly neutral in all matters of morals and politics, as she has exactly one goal and will do whatever it takes to achieve it. Other parts of her personality are variable, as it all depends on who the player decides to trust and which options are picked during Ether’s journey.

Dislikes: ???, The Judgement’s Eye, “Intruders” in her ruined kingdom.

Story Snippet: Ether is the main character, so the player plays as her. Her one goal is to destroy The Judgement’s Eye, a task far easier said than done. When the story begins, she’s just managed to snatch the artifact off The High Mage while he (as in, his heads, Castor and Hemlock) is distracted trying to figure out where her face is.  The enraged High Mage lets the world know who now has the legendary mirror in a desperate bid to retrieve it. Various factions and individuals plot to own the Mirror themselves, but who would choose to help Ether destroy it..?

Fun Fact: Ether can travel vast distances so long as there’s enough water around, but she’s no fighter. Quite the opposite, in fact! That said, she’s quite happy to let people assume otherwise if need be.
