Species: Eldritch Being

Element: Born of the Darkness

Looks: A lot like a giant crow, wreathed in darkness. Their face, when fully unfolded, also resembles a moth. On their main face, there are six eyes surrounding their grey beak. The “moth wings” on either side of their face are tinted pink, the two bigger ones having three eyes each and the two smaller ones one eye each. Two fluffy antenna sit on their forehead. Above their head floats a jet black ring (their crown) with eight spikes, which resembles a halo. They have six feathered wings, with each wing having two eyes on the second joint, one on each side, and seven talons. Instead of tailfeathers, they have twin long, black cat tails that split a bit away from the base. All of their eyes resemble cat eyes and glow bright green. Around their neck is a green ring with a diamond-shaped, bright pink crystal set in it.

Their small, “folded” form has their six wings wrapped around their whole body, with only three eyes visible on their smaller face and one talon to stand on. The moth wings and antennae are folded back. The split cat tail is still visible, but smaller. Their crown and ring shrinks with them.

Personality: Selfish, emotional, charismatic… Spiteful. They believe they are something special, something above nearly all others. They desire the admiration and obedience of others. Interestingly, their open-hearted manner draws many followers towards them… While their fearsomeness drives just as many beings away. Any “accusation” of ultimately being just another person in this world will drive them into an utter fury, as some small part of them knows that it’s true.

Likes: Sol, taking over the world, crows, ice cream.

Dislikes: Would-be “heroes”, the Draconic Empire, “fools”, most cooked foods.

Story Snippet: The Dark Lord is spoken of in hushed, fearful tones by some and awed whispers by others. To their followers, they’re just short of a benevolent deity, while to their enemies they’re portrayed as the epitome of evil.  Yet even a Dark Lord has questions of their own, questions the Judgement’s Eye might answer… Though maybe they would be happier not knowing. Should Ether obtain the rare opportunity of encountering them in person- What should she do..?

Fun Fact: For all that they are looked up to by their followers as someone beyond regular beings, to be admired and feared from a safe distance, The Dark Lord is not satisfied. They’re too deep in their denial and delusions to ever be satisfied.
