Species: Dragon

Element: Born of the Earth

Looks: She is covered with metallic, emerald-coloured scales from the tip of her snout to near the end of her long, pointed tail. She has four large paws that grip the earth, each one with three large,  sharp claws. Her snout resembles a crocodile’s, complete with some pointed teeth. A large pair of light green batlike wings are on her back. Each one has a spike on the tip. A horn shaped like a lightning bolt grows from her forehead, pointing behind her. Rounded, triangular spikes run down her back, ending with a similarly-shaped tailtip spike. Her underside is covered with flat, copper plating from neck to tailtip. Her spikes, horn and claws are all also copper. Her narrow eyes are pink, with slit pupils and thick black rings around her irises.

Personality: Xerotric is a smart, quick thinker who tends to act fast and decisively. She prefers keeping herself company, but nonetheless does her best to be kind and helpful to others. Perhaps her uncanny ability to fit in anywhere is aided by this. She has a habit of keeping her exact intentions vague, and can be sly when the situation calls for it. When faced with an enemy, Xerotric will go straight to her most disabling attacks, no talking or beating around the bush. Once she feels she has won, she will stop. She values following the guides set by higher authorities. She aspires to be a heroic individual, but… well… Ultimately, her heart is in the right place.

Likes: Static electricity, succeeding, naps.

Dislikes: Getting wet, teamwork, staying up late.

Story Snippet: At first, the citizens of The High Mage’s country were a bit confused when a wandering do-gooder appeared, helping random people out before leaving again. When rumours of the Rebellion reached Xerotric, she sought to join them, so as to help remove the deeply disliked dictator. Somehow, she soon became quite entrenched in the Rebellion’s inner workings. Xerotric is also very interested in The Judgement’s Eye, seeking to do good with it- Though not, it seems, on Count Less’s behalf. Given the opportunity, she decides to approach Ether alone…

Fun Fact: People are sometimes confused when Xerotric introduces herself as “Born of the Earth”, what with her clear electricity manipulation powers. But the thing is, she merely stores and releases physical electricity, rather than create magical electricity like one Born of the Technology might do. For some reason, everyone tends to miss the far less flashy freak earthquakes that also happen in Xerotric’s general vicinity.
